About Us
Rhua began with a notebook from the 1960s.
Its pages are yellowed now, the ink faded, the
edges worn soft. Inside, in careful hand, are notes
on fabric — how it breathes, how it drapes, how it
holds a stitch. The private world of someone quietly
in love with craft. That person was Ritu's mother.
The love was never taught. It was lived.
And Ritu absorbed every bit of it.
Years later, her son Rohan and daughter-in-law Shruti
saw work that deserved a space entirely its own — and
together, the three of them built Rhua. Ritu still
designs. Rohan and Shruti shape the world around her
work.
Every piece is hand-finished to order in our Delhi
atelier, in pure fabrics. Nothing leaves in a hurry.
It takes the time it takes.
